If you plan to make the trip to Fiji during the wet season to save on airfare and accommodations some good Fiji travel tips are to head toward Mamanuca or to Yasawa. A lot of the milk is long lived or powdered and chilled water from green coconuts is especially refreshing. Expect to pay around $30 for a 750 ml bottle of Fijian rum. You don't have to be an expert about Fiji to have the trip of a lifetime but it does help if you plan ahead and learn a little Fiji information.
